RM 030

The Richard Mille RM 030 is one of the brand’s signature technical creations, combining the unmistakable tonneau-shaped architecture with an innovative declutchable rotor system designed to optimize automatic winding.

This example features a lightweight Carbon TPT® case, distinguished by its unique layered carbon pattern. The fully skeletonized dial exposes the mechanical architecture beneath, while bold yellow Arabic numerals and yellow detailing create a striking contrast against the dark carbon construction. Rose-gold-toned accents throughout the movement and crown add further depth to the highly technical aesthetic.

At the heart of the RM 030 is the automatic Calibre RMAR1, featuring Richard Mille’s patented declutchable rotor. Once the mainspring reaches the optimal level of tension, the winding mechanism automatically disengages, helping prevent excessive winding and maintaining more consistent performance. The system re-engages as the power reserve decreases.

The dial incorporates hours, minutes, central seconds, a date display at 7 o’clock, a power-reserve indicator, and a dedicated winding indicator, allowing the wearer to visually monitor the watch’s mechanical status.
